Blockchain analysts warn of growing cooperation between Russia-based crypto exchanges and North Korea-linked hacking groups. Democratic People’s Republic of Korea hacker groups have been actively using Russia-based exchanges to launder crypto since 2021, as strict international monitoring of North Korea’s on-chain crimes limits the country’s possibilities of an enrichment capability. A crypto wallet suspected to be tied to the exploit shows it gained over $1 million in SOL and UDSC since the attack. Solana-based decentralized futures exchange Cypher Protocol halted its smart contract after an estimated $1 million exploit . Twitter hackers target high-profile accounts with phishing scam

A group of sophisticated Twitter hackers is successfully targeting high-profile accounts on FinTwit and CryptoTwitter. The group remained anonymous until analyst ZachXBT uncovered its on-chain trails, shedding light on its previous activity. Last week, the group hacked the account of Jim Bianco from Bianco Research to promote a fake coin.
